So the job has been going a lot better lately. I am no longer feeling down and grumpy at the end of the day, more like happy and optimistic. I think it helps that I have been working some later shifts lately and therefore I don't have to wake up at 7am! I have the next two days off which is great but Monday is my only day off this week so I plan to enjoy it. This next weekend should be busy because a bike racing group called LaToJa is staying at the hotel, making us at 100% occupancy. Tired bikers=massages! haha I am currently working on applying for the spa supervisor position since the current one is going back to school in October. Hopefully I will get the job, I have been working extra hard the past couple of weeks and I hope that is paying off.
In other good news the Boilermakers won their first football game of the season vs. Toledo. Hopefully this is the start of a great season with a new coach and some fresh players.
In some not so great news a new person moved to town and I'm not sure how I feel about that. I guess I'll just give them another chance and see how things go!
Well time to head home for the evening and do who knows what!
