My parents were in town last week which was really great! My dad and I were able to ski two mornings,
we all went on a ride in the Elk Refuge which was amazing and we got so close to the Elk, (yes I really took this picture, it almost looks like I got it off a website)
Thursday we had so treatments followed by making dinner for my parents including pork chops, asparagus, couscous, and my first ever homemade apple pie. So yummy!

It was really great to spend time with them and get a little break from work.

The weather here has been crazy but great. It has been sunny and 35-40 during the day (which is really warm here for right now and compared to what it was this winter that is warm) and so the snow is melting. This is both good and bad because people still want to ski (me included) but the mountain is icy in the morning and then slushy in the afternoon. The mountain will closes next Sunday the 4th so it won't matter soon anyway. April 1st is Gapper Day* and I can't wait, the mountain is going to be insain! Everyone is going to dress crazy, ski/drink all day!

*Gapper: May also be pronounced, "Gayper." The term, "Gapper" is derived from people found on the ski hill that generally sport the dreaded helmet gap. The gap that exists between the brim of a ski helmet and the frame of the ski goggles.
A kook that comes to a major ski area to ski from another area or country. Usually wears neon colored clothes from the 80's or jeans while skiing.

Just got done with a 3 hour long Skye convo with my friend Danner! Miss him like crazy and can't wait to go home in June for Christa's wedding and hopefully do a little road trip to the L-ville area!

Sleepy time!

Peace Love and Skype!
