Back Home Again in Indiana:
Wow what a crazy and interesting trip home this past weekend. It was great to see my parents, grandma, church friends, and my two favorite twins in the world! I also got my hair cut and colored and now have bangs again and at first I wasn't so sure about them but now I am in love with them and have gotten a lot of compliments on my hair.
I'll just say that things didn't go as I (and everyone else except a select few bad people) expected them to but I truly believe that for now it is for the best and that God has a bigger and better plan for all those involved. It is going to be a long hard road ahead but the good will prevail and bad karma will come to those who are deserving of it.
In The Hole:
I do feel at home here in Jackson and every time I fly back here it becomes more and more evident that for now at least this is my home and Indiana used to be my home and always will be but seems to be more of a vacation/visiting place.
The off season is here and has become even more know by the fewer number of staff at the hotel, the fewer guests I see, and then amount of walk-ins, calls, and treatments in the spa. I will continue to work at Solitude Wednesday-Sunday until November then I will switch to our sister property Chill for long Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts but will have Monday-Thursday off.
Jean, Ali, and I are all heading to Las Vegas in about 1.5 weeks with two of our guys friends. It should be a fun and interesting trip to say the least. We are driving since it is only 12 hours from here and our friend has connections so we will be able to stay on the strip for free!! We plan to spend all day at the pool and going to some shows and clubs at night. Should be a nice little get away since I will be here for the full on off season while everyone else is gone.
