VEGAS

Currently I am at the spa bored out of my mind because we have no appointments, hotel occupancy is about 8% and I am the only one in the spa area! Ahhh Guess that means it is a good time to blog!

Vegas was a ton of fun although I am glad to be back in simple, quiet, and less expensive Jackson Hole! We were able to get into some VIP night clubs which was pretty sweet and other than that we gambled (I stuck to some Blackjack and the penny slots but hey I won about $20), layed out at the pool, shopped at a mall (something I haven't done forever since the closest one to us is 2 hours away!), walked the strip exploring other hotels, ate some amazing food, and just hung out.

Our adventure began leaving Jackson at 7:30pm on Sunday and arriving at Planet Hollywood at 7am Vegas time, needless to say our room wasn't ready so we had breakfast and gambled.

After a quick change of clothes, make-up, and hair fixing in the hotel's lobby restroom (come-on we were in the car for 10 hours and had gotten little sleep, I think we don't look to shabby) we were off to explore the strip.

Then we met up with the boys are our favorite "dive bar type casino" called Bill's Gamblin Hall. It reminded us a lot of Jackson with $2 Coors and fun Black Jack dealers like Letty, it was the place to be on a Monday morning in Vegas, at least for us! Not long after this picture we were able to check into the hotel and enjoy the pool. Then we will just say the boys hit a wall and passed out for a while although they planned on not sleeping at all that day.

That night we went to a club in Encore called XS and met some rugby players from Whales (yes they really did play for the team since they decided to show us their pictures on the team's website to prove it to us.

The next day we shopped at the mall connected to our hotel, spending most of our time in H&M. After that we met up with the boys and headed over to The Palms to get some lunch and see Jackass 3D, it was so funny and the theater there was an IMAX which made it even better. That night we went to a club in The Palazzo called Lavo which was kind of snobby but we still had fun, Jean and I even got up on one of the blocks and danced.

Our last day in Vegas we took on the strip, exploring Caesar's Palace, The Bellagio, The Palazzo, and got lost in The Venetian. That is when we found First Bar and Grill where we had a fabulous dinner that evening. We had some issues trying to get into Surrender, the club we were supposed to have a table at so everyone ended up going back to the hotel, changing, and gambling. The craps tables were hot that night although I ended up staying in the room cause my stomach hurt, too many sugary drinks at dinner.
